October 30, 2008. NCMA will host a full day Open House program at the Hyatt Fair Lakes Hotel in Fairfax Virginia. The program will be similar to the program that was offered at the NCMA Open House in Costa Mesa, California. Members will be given a 20 minute time frame to present there program. Members would contribute $1,000 to participate. Our hope is to include a table top trade show during this event. Promotion will be directed by email marketing and supported by NACTA to agents in the Beltway loop. Special Hotel Offering - NCMA has been offered a special rate at the Hyatt Fair Lakes Hotel from October 29- 31. The rate that has been offered is only $169 per night single or double occupancy plus state and local taxes. I will need to know by September 1 if you are planning to use our block. I will need names and credit card information at that time.

November 14, 2008 Leisure Travel Show, Miami Florida - NCMA will conduct a full day format training session on Fri November 14 similar to our program in Vancouver. Members will be provided with a 20 minute segment to present their program. NCMA will also hold a Marketing Meeting on Saturday November 15 from 9 AM-Noon. Members will also participate in the Trade Show which is scheduled from 2:30-5:30 PM on Monday November 17th. NCMA. Exhibit space must be reserved directly on the Travel Trade web site (www.ttshows.com). The special NCMA rate is $1,000 per booth (the standard cost of $1,750). Note there are additional events that are being planned by NACTA that are not final yet but would be located around this trade event.

December 2-4, 2008, Luxury Travel Expo and Homebased Travel Agent Expo, Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is planned that NCMA will conduct a training program on Tuesday, December 2. Questex will operate these two shows in tandem once again with over 3,500 agents expected for the Luxury travel program and more than 2,500 agents expected for the HomeBased show. These two shows will have different audiences and NCMA will have presence at both. The trade shows for both shows will take place on Wednesday and Thursday December 3 and 4th. NCMA has made arrangements for a 20' X 30' Island which can handle 12 member lines at the Luxury show. Members participating at LTE will contribute $2,250.
